Bruno Caboclo will not join the Golden State Warriors. The Brazilian center has reportedly agreed on a deal with israeli Hapoel Tel Aviv, the EuroCup team that also signed in the last weeks NBA veteran Pat Beverley. According to Tomer Givati of Israel Hayom, Caboclo will sign a $1.5 million contract for the next season. Hapoel will also pay a buyout to Partizan Belgrade, with whom Caboclo still has a contract, of $600.000. It's a big operation for the Israeli club that built a roster to win the EuroCup to land in the EuroLeague in 2025.
Last season, Caboclo averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 10.6 PIR per game in 27 EuroLeague appearances for Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade. He also had a dominant performance against Japan to get through the group stage, with 33 points (13/19 from the field, 4/4 from three), 17 rebounds, 1 block and 43 rating points.
