NBA insider Chris Haynes reports, "LeBron James plans to intend a member of the Los Angeles Lakers past the February 6 trade deadline". ESPN's Dave McMenamin initially reported that James was "surprised" to learn about the Davis-Dončić trade. As mentioned in recent hours, James has never hidden his high regard for Dončić, even calling him his favorite player in the NBA in 2022. Now, they will have half a season and potentially the playoffs to test their chemistry on the court.
