Nenad Canak is the new head coach of Turk Telekom
Nenad Canak has bee announced as the new head coach of Turk Telekom. Canak, 47, arrives from 7Bet-Lietkabelis Panevezys, where he worked for the past five seasons. He'll take the place of Erdem Can, 2022/23 EuroCup coach of the year who will sign a deal with Anadolu Efes.
A former player, Canak began his coaching career as an assistant at Mega Basket from 2012 to 2016. He then became an assistant coach at Partizan Belgrade and, after a brief stint with Spartak Subotica, returned to Partizan as head coach in the 2017-18 season, winning the Serbian Cup. He then coached Lietkabelis, helping them reach the Lithuanian league finals in 2022. Last season, he guided Lietkabelis to the EuroCup round of 16 for the second consecutive season.
