Official: Bayern Munich and Yam Madar part ways
Yam Madar's adventure at Bayern Munich comes to an end. The German club announced the separation of the 23-year-old playmaker, who has found little space in Germany after arriving in the summer on a contract until 2026. He barely averaged 12.0 minutes in just five EuroLeague games this season. Despite the "market derby" with Maccabi, Madar's future includes a return to Hapoel Tel Aviv, the club with which he made his professional debut and played from 2018 to 2021. He then landed in the EuroLeague with Partizan Belgrade and Fenerbahce.
"Yam approached us in recent days with the request to make a move back to his homeland possible. We wish him all the best for his future," said FCBB sporting director Dragan Tarlac on Thursday. "We will now assess whether we need to take any further action regarding our roster."
For Bayern, Madar played in all eight Bundesliga games (4.3 points per game, 12:20 minutes) as well as in the cup. In the EuroLeague, he participated in five games (4.2 points per game, 11:56 minutes). "FC Bayern Basketball wishes Yam great success on his future path!".
