His experience that began in November 2022 and effectively ends with the World Cup in the Philippines last summer.

What future for Sasha Djordjevic? - The former Virtus Bologna head coach, according to Serbian media Nova, has been chosen as the new coach of BC Dubai, the Emirati team admitted to the ABA Liga in recent weeks and likely to play in the BKT EuroCup next season. Dubai's goal is to land in the EuroLeague soon, perhaps as early as 2025/26. Djordjevic reportedly beat out competition from Svetislav Pesic. In late May, co-owner and general manager Dejan Kamenjasevic revealed that the budget for the club's first season in Europe will be 4 million.
