Raptors, Jared Rhoden to sign a 10-day contract

The Toronto Raptors had an available spot on their roster, and it will be filled by Jared Rhoden. The 25-year-old has signed a 10-day contract. He was with the Raptors during training camp last summer but was waived before the season started. Rhoden was then claimed by the Hornets, where he played four games and two for the Greensboro Swarm in the G League. In December, he moved to the Raptors 905 in the development league. There, he averaged 15.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals in 29.4 minutes per game over 18 appearances, shooting nearly 42% from beyond the arc. With this 10-day contract, he will earn $119,972. The Raptors had an open spot after waiving James Wiseman, who arrived via trade from Indiana on February 8.
