Sasha Vezenkov is reportedly considering changing the national team. The Olympiacos star may soon start wearing the Cyprus jersey instead of the Bulgarians's, per SportKlub. Cyprus will be among the host countries of the next European Championships in 2025. “Vezenkov could play for Cyprus right away, because FIBA allows players to change basketball citizenship if their involvement leads to the popularization of basketball in a country that does not have a great tradition.”, the Serbian outlet said.
