Warriors, “positive conversations” for Kuminga, Moody extensions, Dunleavy said
During the media day Mike Dunleavy, GM of the Golden State Warriors, stated his desire to hold on both to Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody in the future rosters. The executive said that there have been “positive conversations” with the two players and their representatives regarding their respective contract extensions. In a summer of change, a big one with Klay Thompson's farewell move to the Dallas Mavericks, the Warriors want to rely on them for the present but also for the future. Respectively 21 and 22 years old, they are both players with very good potential. Kuminga has shown already that he can be a key player after finishing last season averaging 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game with 52.9 percent from the field. Moody had 8.1 points and 3.0 rebounds with 36% from 3pts.
