Virtus Bologna has a deal with Rayjon Tucker, but the player takes time
Virtus Bologna wants to close the Luca Banchi's roster for next season with the signing of Rayjon Tucker. The agreement in principle with the player has been reached, however Corriere di Bologna reports that the player “is stalling waiting for the end of the Summer League in Las Vegas”. Something could change in the weekend, but the newspaper adds that Virtus “is also taking its time and looking around” in case of Tucker decide to wait for the NBA.
Tucker, 26, is coming off a great year in a Reyer Venezia jersey. He averaged 14.2 points for him in the Italia LBA Serie A and 14.9 in the BKT Eurocup, with nearly 4 rebounds and 2 assists per game. Before landing in Italy in the summer of 2023, he played one season for Melbourne United in the NBL, scoring an average of 18.1 points per game. In his past also a lot of NBA GLeague and 39 games in the NBA played with Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks.
