Ukrainian Dmytro Skapintsev signs an Exhibit 10 with the Boston Celtics
According to a report by Hoopshype's Michael Scotto, Ukrainian big man Dmytro Skapintsev has signed a contract with the Boston Celtics. He has agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal, and will be at training camp with the defending NBA champions. Skapintsev is also eligible for the two-way contract. Celtics has already 15 players under guaranteed contract and 3 two-way players, so they would have to waive someone to sign former Westchester Knicks players. Last season the 26-year-old was called up by the New York Knicks and made his NBA debut by playing 2 games. He has spent most of the last two seasons with the affiliated team in the GLeague, averaging 10.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals in 23.9 minutes per game in 38 Showcase Cup and regular season outings in 2023/24.
