NBA Playoffs | Jazz: Bogdanovic's mistake sends Doncic and the Mavs to the 2nd round
To win a career playoff series for the first time Luka Doncic had to sweat the proverbial seven shirts. Despite the hostile atmosphere of the Vivint Smart Home Arena, the Mavericks did their part, with three players besides Doncic at 18 points, shared with the Jazz a lackluster start (21-15), endured a mediocre first half marked by a Utah break (53-41).
Spencer Dinwindie, Jalen Brunson, Reggie Bullock allowed the Texans to turn the third period around with a nice shooting performance (72-77). Bojan Bogdanovic in the corner for the tie with 2 minutes left (94-94). Brunson signs Dallas' last lead, and with 4" to the buzzer Bogdanovic gets in his hands the ball that is worth game 7 to save the Jazz's season. But he's unsuccessful: iron, scoreboard and off to the vacations.
Utah - Dallas 96-98 (2-4).
