Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis is returning tonight in Los Angeles against the Clippers
Five months after foot surgery forced him to miss most of the 2023/24 playoffs, at the end of which the Boston Celtics became NBA champions, Kristaps Porzingis is ready to return. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the Latvian will rejoin coach Joe Mazzulla's rotation in tonight's game in Los Angeles against the Clippers. He will thus begin his 10th year in the U.S., his ninth in the NBA considering that he missed the 2018/19 season entirely. In Boston he played 57 regular season games last season producing in 29-6 minutes an average of 20.1 points per game, 7.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists with 37.5% from three-point range. In his NBA career, on the other hand, he has averaged 19-7 points per game and 7.9 rebounds in 459 games played so far.
