Former NBA guard Saben Lee officially joins Maccabi Tel Aviv
Maccabi Tel Aviv - after parting ways with Jordan Loyd, who returned to Monaco, and the injury of Rokas Jokubaitis - announced the signing of Saben Lee. The guard recently made headlines with a stellar start to the season, averaging 39.5 points on 65.7% shooting, plus 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in his first two Basketball Champions League games. During the week, he equaled the record in the competition with his 43 points scored on the road against FMP Belgrade. Before his European debut, Lee spent four seasons in the NBA, averaging 5.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 134 games for the Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers.
