Facundo Campazzo sanctioned with a one game suspension from EuroLeague
Facundo Campazzo fined and suspended, for one game, from EuroLeague. Real Madrid's point guard has been sanctioned after Round 1: the former Mavs player went against the referee looking for a foul after a his attempt from three to tie the game against Bayern Munich with seconds left. Teammate Serge Ibaka even stopped Campazzo. ""Mr. Facundo Campazzo, player of Real Madrid, has been sanctioned with a one game suspension and a fine of €5,000 for actions that represent a lack of respect towards the referees, on occasion of its away game against Bayern Munich under 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code."
Also Crvena Zvezda "Meridanbet Belgrade "has been sanctioned with a fine of €7,000 for the throwing of objects onto the playing court by its fans, on occasion of its away game against Paris Basketball under 29.2.h) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code". These decisions may be appealed before the Appeals Judge.
