Warriors to sign Javan Johnson and Donta Scott with Exhibit 10
The Golden State Warriors have signed under Exhibit 10 contracts two new players, Javan Johnson and Donta Scott. With this type of deal, the two will be at training camp with a chance to snag a guaranteed contract and be part of the roster for next season. If they are waived, they can instead earn a bonus by landing with the Santa Cruz Warriors, the affiliated GLeague franchise. The Warriors have 13 players with guaranteed contracts and thus still have 2 spots left to fill. In addition to Johnson and Scott, Rowe and Yuri Collins are also in camp. Under a two-way contract already filled the three spots by Beekman, Plowden, and Spencer.
Javan Johnson, 25yrs old forward, spent his rookie year at the Santa Cruz Warriors, averaging 10.1 points with a good 37.7 percent from three-point range in 21.3 minutes in 2023/24. 24 years old, Donta Scott is also a wing but a rookie. Coming out of Maryland, he averaged 11.3 points with 4.4 rebounds per game in his last NCAA season.
