Official: Fenerbahce part ways with Calathes and Sestina

Double announcement for Fenerbahce, which in few minutes said goodbye and thanks to Nate Sestina - whose future is at Valencia Basket - and Nick Calathes - who will land instead in the Principality of Monaco.

The 27-year-old forward had an option to stay in Turkey but decided to accept Valencia's proposal, even though the club's future in the top ECA competition is still very uncertain. This season he has put up 3.6 points with 1.5 rebounds in 11 minutes in EuroLeague.

On the other hand, Nick Calathes is leaving Fener after two seasons. The 1989 class finished the EuroLeague season averaging 7.1 points per game with also 4.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds. In the playoffs he scored 11.8 points (50 percent from 2-point range, 40 percent from 3-point range), 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists averaged in 29 minutes of play. Next will be his 13th season in the EuroLeague.
