Real Madrid to appeal on Facundo Campazzo's one-game suspension
Real Madrid has filed an appeal after Facundo Campazzo's one-game suspension, which came after the Argentine received an ejection in the Round 1 in Munich. The former Mavs point guard was furious after the referees did not whistle him for a foul, which he said was evident, on the three-point attempt to tie the game in the last seconds. EuroLeague sanctioned him with a one-game stop and a 5,000-euro fine. Tomorrow Real Madrid will know whether the appeal will be upheld or not, and thus whether he will be able to play the next game against Partizan. Against the Belgrade team, coach Mateo has Usman Garuba in doubt, who continues to have leg discomfort.
